Summary
Kelly Green Keyser is a Professional Show Jumping rider, trainer, and coach from Maui, Hawaii. She began riding competitively at the age of 8 and has successfully competed through the Grand Prix level of show jumping on the East Coast show circuit.
In 2013, Kelly began training with U.S. Olympic Show Jumping Gold Medalist Joe Fargis in Middleburg, Virginia and Wellington, Florida. She achieved success in shows from the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington to The Hampton Classic in New York.
From 2008 to 2013, before focusing exclusively on Show Jumping, Kelly was invited to train and compete with Olympic Gold Medalists Karen and David O’Connor in Middleburg, VA, where she developed into an upper level Eventing competitor.
Kelly loves to work with students of all levels and ages, from beginners to those who want to travel competitively to top-rated shows. Although her primary focus is on Show Jumping, she is an experienced instructor and coach of Eventing, Cross Country, and Dressage. Kelly’s method for developing horses has been strongly influenced by equine biomechanics specialist, Dr. Sheila Schils.
Kelly currently resides in Monkton, Maryland, where she continues to compete, train clients’ horses and take on part-time and full-time students in Show Jumping and Eventing.
